Artists spend their time at The Mill

We welcomed the artists from Watercolour Workshops at Catherine-de-Barnes to our picturesque canalside today.

In addition to their weekly lessons at Catherine-de-Barnes and Hockley Heath, they visit areas of local interest and conduct real-life painting and sketching sessions. Don Irving, the group’s teacher quoted the canal area at Lapworth as being an incredibly rich area of interest – and we think so too! I met Nigella Lawson at the Hay Festival

I had the pleasure of meeting Nigella Lawson at the Hay Festival over the weekend and I had the chance to talk to her about all sorts of recipes including one of my favourite recipes from her collection – Pina Colada Ice Cream.
